About VNA Home Health & Hospice

Founded in 1921 as a public health nursing service by the Red Cross and the City of South Portland, our local chapter of the Visiting Nurse Association carries on the tradition of providing exceptional, innovative, and personal care to people in their homes. Affiliated with Mercy Hospital, VNA Home Health & Hospice helps families throughout southern Maine. We are a team of caring professionals who work closely with your doctor to serve you with high quality care in the comfort of your home.

Our mission is to provide clinically excellent, compassionate home health and hospice care to individuals and families. Because of this commitment, we strive to demonstrate our belief in the dignity and worth of each individual.
