VNA Home Health & Hospice is pleased to join the Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA) in celebrating National VNA Week, May 8-14, 2011.
Congress and the Visiting Nurse Associations of America have declared the second week in May National Visiting Nurse Association Week. The aim of this week is to raise public awareness about home healthcare and hospice and the critical role visiting nurses, clinicians, aides and companions play in providing comprehensive, affordable services to millions of Americans each year. Many in our community would not be able to receive healthcare that they so desperately need, if it were not for the nonprofit home healthcare and hospice VNAs.
"We at VNA Home Health & Hospice take great pride in the wonderful work done by our nurses, therapists, social workers, home health aides and all other support staff who work tirelessly to help seniors recover from illness in the comfort of their homes.” stated Colleen Hilton CEO of VNA Home Health & Hospice.
