The 2011 Heloise Withee Spirit of VNA Award Winner Announced!

Annie Blanchard, LCSW, was recently named the 2011 Heloise Withee Award Winner at VNA's annual recognition dinner.

Since 1994 the Heloise Withee Spirit of Vna Award has been given to an employee who most exemplifies the mission and values of home care and has demonstrated an ability to go above and beyond expected job performance.

This year we are proud to announce Annie Blanchard, LCSW, is the winner of this prestigious award. The following is from Annie's nomination:

"Annie is not only a wonderful coworker but an amazing person. She always goes above and beyond her role to make sure that our Hospice patients have everything they need and want. She is always willing to lend an ear and her calm demeanor helps to soothe patients and their families. She responds to Hospice families rapidly, providing support and comfort where needed. She seems to have the ability to be in a thousand places at once with a calming and peaceful energy. She meets everyone with wisdom and compassion and makes them feel like they are the most important person in the world. We are truly blessed to have her on our team."
