Hospice Volunteer Training

Spring hospice volunteer training will be held in April.

The Spring hospice volunteer training will be held in April. 

 When: Tuesday and Thursday Evening, April 19, 21, 26, and 28 from 5:30-8:30

           Saturday April 23 and 30 from 9:00-3:00

Where: VNA Home Health & Hospice, 50 Foden Rd. South Portland, ME

 We hope this two-week schedule will make it possible for people who can not attend a daytime training to come to this one. Our program is seeing an increased call for vigil volunteers who are often requested for evenings and weekends. People who can volunteer weekdays are still most in demand.

 This training is for people who would like to provide support to our hospice clients and families.  We provide the gift of presence for comfort, companionship, respite, and practical non-medical help that supplements the work of our professional staff.
