The Joint Commission Launches New Video

The Joint Commission will publicly launch the first in a series of new animated Speak Up™ videos that encourage patients to speak up and become active participants in their health care.

This new video is an excellent tool for patients and their caregivers. Studies have shown that patients are more willing to accept what a physician says regarding their care and less willing to raise questions or ask for more clarification. This video clearly explains how important it is to speak up for yourself regarding your care.
