Janet Edmunson, M.ED. will be presenting "Finding Meaning from Loss" on Saturday, April 2nd, 2011 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Scarborough Library.
This afternoon grief support workshop will provide poignant stories and affirmations that speak to those who have lost a loved one. Janet’s presentations help reveal insights into making meaning out of this difficult life experience.
Janet took care of her late husband, Charles, during the five years he fought an Atypical Parkinson’s disease. She is a national inspirational speaker on caregiving. Since retirement, Janet has committed her time to sharing her story with various support groups, hospice staff and caregivers. She is the author of Finding Meaning with Charles: Caregiving with Love through a Degenerative Disease.
